Elimination of packaging waste

Natura approached us with a major challenge: to significantly reduce pollution from their packaging. To address this, we systematically assessed alternative technologies, logistic approaches, and business models to minimize improper disposal.

This initiative marked the largest open innovation challenge in Natura's history.

Our collaboration not only aided the company in minimizing its environmental footprint but also played a pivotal role in establishing Natura as a sustainable, modern, and forward-thinking entity within the innovation ecosystem.

Investment in Startups

Adidas chose us to conduct an investment radar. The idea was to invest in startups that could potentially be acquired and integrated into the company in the future.

We mapped more than 235 startups in Europe and the Middle East for 5 different challenges. Additionally, we assessed and ranked each of them based on Adidas' needs.

This process led to the recommendation of startups, and Adidas decided to test 3 solutions from these companies to evaluate an investment.

Restructuring Innovation Strategy

With the aim of restructuring a portion of Vale's innovation strategy and engagement with the ecosystem, we established Vale Futures, a corporate innovation program designed to address Vale's most significant challenges, scale innovation, attract talent, and prioritize efforts.

Currently, Vale Futures operates numerous concurrent projects in digital transformation and open innovation in areas such as health and safety, decarbonization, and circular economy.
