The Bakery opens new office in Belo Horizonte and strengthens its presence in Brazil to accelerate corporate innovation

Belo Horizonte, 20 August 2025 — The Bakery, a corporate innovation management firm, has officially inaugurated its new office in Belo Horizonte (MG), marking a strategic step in its expansion across Brazil. This initiative reinforces the company’s commitment to being ever closer to its clients and high-potential ecosystems.

Founded in London, The Bakery was born with the mission of hacking the way large corporations innovate — connecting creativity, technology and business to turn complex challenges into real solutions, with speed and impact. Throughout its journey, the company has consolidated a global presence, with operations in Australia, Miami and Europe. Since 2023, with its global leadership and headquarters based in Brazil, the firm has been deepening its role in the country and identified Minas Gerais as a strategic territory.

“The opening of our BH office represents much more than geographical expansion — it is a strategic move to be even closer to our clients and partners. Minas Gerais is one of the most relevant industrial and technological hubs in the country, home to traditional companies reinventing themselves, leading universities and a vibrant entrepreneurial ecosystem. Being here means being where the future is being built,” says Marcone Siqueira, CEO of The Bakery.

With a methodology that combines the strategic thinking of consultancies with entrepreneurial agility, The Bakery goes beyond delivering isolated projects. Through its full portfolio, it creates continuous innovation structures for market-leading companies, reducing friction and accelerating the delivery of tangible results.

The physical presence in Belo Horizonte will enable The Bakery to strengthen the connection between industry, technology and highly qualified talent, fostering partnerships between government, academia and business. For the CEO, this triad is essential:

“True innovation emerges when these three pillars come together. We want to be the bridge that transforms this potential into concrete solutions for the challenges faced by companies and society.”

Over the coming months, objectives include full integration with the local ecosystem, strengthening partnerships with strategic clients such as Vale and VLI, and launching the first AIVs (Autonomous Innovation Vehicles) in the region. In the medium term, Belo Horizonte is expected to become a national reference hub for The Bakery’s operations in Brazil, generating knowledge, talent and new business.

“Just like Belo Horizonte, we have one foot in tradition and another in the future. Our essence is to unite courage, curiosity and collaboration to create new businesses and strengthen existing ones. In Minas Gerais, we will foster a culture of execution, where good ideas have no hierarchy and failing fast is part of the process of succeeding big. We are ready to grow together,” Siqueira concludes.
