We are looking for a passionate and creative professional to work with us at The Bakery Brazil.

This role is responsible for delivering naming/branding solutions and graphic arts for our external projects and also support the team with internal demands.

Key responsibilities: Create new business brands and visual identity, which includes: Present naming and branding concept according to the client briefing, brand guide, application examples. Create social media arts Create presentation templates Create team presentations Create projects cases Support the team with other graphic demands.
About you: 5-10 years experience working in creative/digital media companies as Graphic Designer. Fluent English and Portuguese The ideal candidate is a creative and self-motivated person, has proven experience with naming/branding, a strong graphic design portfolio, extensive knowledge in branding creations, and high deliverable skills.

The Bakery is recruiting for an exciting Growth/Performance Marketer role to its operations in Brazil.

The role will support the launch and growth strategies of a unique digital innovation product as a result of a partnership between The Bakery and a leading Brazilian construction company. It’s a unique opportunity to be part of a dynamic team trying to take a different approach to brand building and go to market strategy

We are looking for a Growth/Performance Marketeer to work on-site with us, running a digital media budget.

This role is responsible for delivering the plan across the marketing channels to hit business KPIs – to
engage a number of interested clients into the platform.

Key responsibilities: ● Planning and delivering Facebook and Instagram campaigns ● Continuously optimising channel performance through a data-led test and learn approach ● Working closely with Content Marketing to define the marketing plan for each business ● Overseeing SEO implementation ● Managing relationships with affiliate partners ● Advising on email marketing campaigns and tactics to improve website conversion over time ● Reporting KPIs to management, enabling strategic and tactical trading decisions to be made ● Creating a content and communication strategy for the new brand, optimizing the reach-out and message comprehension by key target customers.
The ideal candidate: ● Has proven experience in fast-growth DTC / digital businesses ● Significant experience as a Performance Marketer ● A clear track record of hitting channel targets to drive company growth ● Is performance-focused – driven and motivated by surpassing targets ● Is a highly analytical thinker and creative problem solver – extremely comfortable working with data and managing through an environment of performance indicators and analysis ● Has direct experience managing social, PPC, affiliate, SEO and referral channels ● Has demonstrable track record and extensive knowledge in growth hacking tools and ideas

Key Responsibilities:

Programme Management

  • Oversee innovation programmes within our clients - managing a team to scale startup technologies within the client organisation and deliver meaningful innovation
  • Lead Bakery client accounts so well that word spreads about us throughout the whole client organisation
  • Understand and communicate the value our service is delivering within the client to demonstrate the return on investment

Account Development

  • Create new relationships and uncover new projects with different service lines within client organisations
  • Develop relationships with the most senior levels within client organisations
  • Sell in The Bakery programmes and multiple projects with startups, building revenues within your allocated clients year-on-year
  • Lead a series of story-telling engagements, events, videos and newsletters which create fame for The Bakery across the client organisation globally

Team Management

  • Build strong relationships with The Bakery Founders and Management team so that they trust you to get on with these projects
  • Contribute to the empowered, entrepreneurial, autonomous culture within The Bakery


A bit about you...

We are seeking applicants from all industries but most importantly you will have strong client management experience and ideally some exposure to working with startups and technology, delivering innovative solutions within large corporate clients.


Your must-have experience:

  • 4-6 years in senior client facing roles
  • Client services & relationship building at senior levels
  • Commercial acumen e.g. contract negotiation, proposal writing, profit management
  • Strategy & long term vision setting for clients and/or internal organisations

Salary & Benefits

As an Account Director at The Bakery you can expect a salary of between £45-£55k plus bonuses, depending on the level you are coming in at and your existing experience.

We are opening offices around the world so we also offer the potential to travel and help expand the business overseas.

We are seeking people with experience in a client-facing role in a creative, digital or innovation agency environment or equivalent, with experience analysing client briefs, thinking about creative solutions and managing multiple projects. You will learn our process of how to find startups to solve challenges, take technology to trial in market and then scale-up, through collaborating with our global network of tech startups.

You’ll have the chance to work with some of the worlds biggest global businesses as your clients, developing our global network of startups, as well as meet a constant stream of the most talented early stage companies who are building amazing technology. We are a small but fast-growing company, so this is a fantastic opportunity to get your sleeves rolled up and learn by doing – and grow with us!

Key responsibilities:
  • Work with the rest of the client services team to analyse clients’ briefs and identify territories and ideas for the solution
  • Use The Bakery’s network of entrepreneurs to find the right startup tech companies who could answer the brief
  • Research the ever-changing tech startup landscape, meeting and reporting on companies you’ve met with
  • Plan and manage timelines for your client projects
  • Project manage trials that go ahead between clients and startups
  • Assist with the planning and organisation of client events
  • Become an expert on emerging tech via meeting with entrepreneurs building incredible things!

A bit about you...

We’d love to meet someone who is super well connected in the tech world, who is passionate about helping entrepreneurs achieve great things and who has a strong reputation for connecting people and making things happen.

Key skills and experience:
  • 1-4 years’ client-facing experience, ideally in a digital, creative or innovation agency
  • Strong project management skills
  • The drive and motivation to work without structure, process and support – we are a small team, growing quickly and you will be a key part of making this happen
  • Must be friendly, fun and keen to get stuck in!

About the role

The role of Finance Manager is new to the company and as such represents a great opportunity for the right candidate to establish themselves as the lead financial voice within the business. The role will be a hands-on role and it will present a challenge right from the start as the candidate will be expected to improve on our current financial processes right away and then support the business as it achieves its growth plans.

Key responsibilities:
  • Management of the Finance function, including the processing of AP & AR transactions
  • Producing accurate and timely management accounting packs for the UK entities
  • Monthly Balance Sheet reconciliations
  • Management and completion of HMRC expectations (VAT and PAYE)
  • Preparing KPI and performance analysis and working with client leads to maintain income forecast
  • Offering commercial insights to senior management
A bit about you...

Key skills and experience:
  • Minimum 2 years experience in a similar position
  • Previous experience in the consultancy led/fee based business
  • A hardworking and honest individual
  • Highly-motivated and proactive self starter
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines
  • Excellent excel skills
  • Understanding of Trimble software preferred but not essential
Salary & Benefits Part-time role, 16-24 hours per week. We offer £35 – 40k salary pro-rata as well as Charlie HR Perks at Work platform access.
