The challenge

The company has taken a long-term public commitment to operational safety and the responsible transformation of its geotechnical structures — an agenda that demands technical rigor, transparency and the courage to rethink processes consolidated over decades,

Meeting this agenda means facing three
operational realities at the same time:

Increase the accuracy of geotechnical decisions, reducing uncertainty in the assessment of safety factors in sensitive structures.

Protect people in critical areas, replacing high-risk collections and inspections with remote and autonomous monitoring technologies.

Modernize the technical management of samples, digitizing the complete characterization cycle and expanding information traceability.
The challenge was to advance an agenda of socio-environmental responsibility with the same technical seriousness and the same scale as the operation — putting innovation at the service of safety.

How we did it

The Bakery worked alongside the Geotechnics, Innovation and Structural Engineering teams in building the complete business case for the Investigation & Monitoring pillar, organizing technical data, financial projections and benchmarking of emerging technologies across three integrated fronts:
